Ten page all-source assessment tracing the 2026 Israel/US–Iran war into the credit-risk disclosures of four banks, built from the institutions' own filings and House of Commons Library briefings. Judgements graded on the PHIA probability yardstick with confidence stated separately, indicator thresholds fixed before current readings were consulted, and a companion method note recording where an earlier draft was wrong and how it was corrected.

I take geopolitical events, financial disclosure and incomplete evidence and turn them into stated judgements: probability and confidence given separately, indicators with thresholds set before the data is consulted, and the conditions that would prove the judgement wrong written down alongside it. Claims are labelled fact, calculation or assessment, and questions the evidence does not settle are recorded as unsettled rather than filled.
The work spans geopolitical and security risk, sanctions and corporate ownership, credit and financial-crime exposure, and maritime and aviation verification. Currently on Knightsbridge Strategic Group's Professional Experience Intelligence Track on a Middle East portfolio, and working as a freelance intelligence analyst for Dilitas Ltd.

Tradecraft
Intelligence cycle and requirements. PHIA probability yardstick, with confidence stated separately from probability. Analysis of Competing Hypotheses and dimension-specific confidence grading. Source grading and reliability. Indicators and warning. Falsifiers and model correction. National Intelligence Model product taxonomy. Explicit recording of intelligence gaps rather than inference.

Evidential discipline
Every figure traced to a primary filing or registry, with a standing rule that a search-engine summary is a lead and never a source. Applied in practice: that rule has caught errors in my own finished drafts, including an untraced statistic, and the corrections were published rather than quietly made.
AI in open-source work

Intelligence Analyst, freelance
Dilitas Ltd Aug 2026 – present- Paid OSINT and intelligence support for a UK surveillance, investigations and due diligence company, working to defined tasking from the investigations team and reporting findings to colleagues acting on them.
- Produced a pre-task subject profile inside one hour for a team already deploying: rapid collection against the immediate requirement, cross-checked sources, confirmed information separated from single-source reporting. Used directly in live operational work.
- Entity, association, adverse information and public-record research across corporate filings, beneficial ownership records, sanctions and watchlist data and court material. Assess source reliability, identify gaps and escalate material uncertainty rather than filling it by inference.
- Social media research supporting investigations, including identifying a previously unestablished connection that proved material to an enquiry, with the online material verified and the strength of the evidence stated before it was reported.
- Weekend and out-of-hours tasking, under commercial client confidentiality throughout.
Head of Communications, Summer School
Aiglon College, Switzerland Summers 2025 and 2026- Led the digital communications strategy for the international summer programme in a reputation-sensitive environment, directing it end to end and managing relationships with partners including Manchester City and the Bear Grylls Survival Academy.
- Primary liaison between senior school leadership and external professional film and media crews, managing complex access and reputational requirements with discretion.
- Balanced creative objectives against strict safeguarding and welfare protocols, assessing incidents against written thresholds and writing escalation reports for senior leadership to act on immediately.
- Ran multiple workstreams at once, tracking actions and deadlines to delivery, alongside ongoing social media research on competing international schools and the wider Swiss market.
Sales Administrator, and Operations and Crisis Management Coordinator
Pharos Response, London Sept 2025 – Jan 2026- Supported consultants on live overseas client incidents through the 24-hour helpline: maintaining the incident log, listening in on calls and writing them up, running social and news media monitoring for secondary coverage, and advising on holding lines and communication with next of kin. Case work included a road traffic collision involving a touring group in the United States and the detention of a client group overseas, where the work was welfare checks, embassy notification and keeping an accurate record through several days.
- Prepared incident-response plans, security reviews and business-continuity arrangements for institutional clients, and contributed to client preparedness under the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, known as Martyn's Law.
- Communicated with organisations of differing technical understanding and risk appetite, and owned the pipeline in Zoho CRM, following matters through to completion without prompting.

Winckworth Sherwood LLP and HCR Law, London 2024 – 2025- Analysed policy and legal documentation on Commercial and Media Law desks under live-client confidentiality; legal research, document review and case preparation, summarising material points for fee earners.
Head of Publicity and Marketing
Exeter Engineers RFC 2023 – 2024- Exercised editorial judgement on reputational risk, including a decision not to publish a viral tour video that would have damaged the club's standing with the university, its sponsors and its members. Comparable clubs later faced consequences for similar material.
Also founded and led Pacexeter Run Club at the University of Exeter, 2024 to 2025, growing membership from a standing start.

Forty page study of Chinese state-linked ownership across eleven Mediterranean container terminals against NATO logistical exposure. Dimension-specific confidence grading and Analysis of Competing Hypotheses. Two positions where beneficial ownership could not be established are recorded as intelligence gaps.
